The Civic Opera Theater of Kansas City is a not-for-profit volunteer-based opera company dedicated to bringing quality contemporary and chamber operas to new and expanding audiences in the Kansas City metropolitan area. The company exists for the purpose of providing performers and technicians with the opportunity to use and develop their talents in the performing arts, and to promote, foster and enhance the cultural life of the city.
